Shopkeeper Arvind Sah told that he has learned the method of making pedakia from the thawe of Gopalganj. Earlier he used to work there and later came to Sitamarhi and started making pedukia. Arvind Sah told that brother Sudhir Sah also helps in running the shop.
Customers Mulk Nath Tripathi and Jitendra told that the peda kiya served here is even tastier than the peda kiya they used to eat in the Thawe of Gopalganj. On the other hand, Jayaprakash Tiwari told that people come to this shop everyday to eat tree nuts. While his house is in Chhapra. Whenever we go to Chhapra, we definitely take Peducia to our family. At the same time, he told that apart from Pedukia, the peda, barfi and rasgulla here are also very tasty, which are prepared from pure Khowa. Arvind Sah told that he prepares other sweets including Padukia by himself. Its sales are also good. He told that 100 to 150 customers come here daily just to eat pedakiya.
Padukia is available for Rs 200 per kg
Shopkeeper Arvind Sah told that Padukia is available here both on the basis of kilo and piece. If someone buys on the basis of kg, then he is given Rs.200 per kg. At the same time, Rs 10 per piece is also given to the customers. Apart from this, Balushahi is also available at the rate of Rs.200 per kg. Arvind told that the taste of peducia is such that those who come to eat two pieces go after eating three to four pieces. Sweet lovers come to this shop in the morning and evening to eat pedakia. Sweets of this quality will not be found in entire Sitamarhi. This is the reason why no complaints are heard from the customers either.
